Slow Pitch Jigging as a technique has proven to be one of the most effective methods of getting wary fish to eat, however, one of the limitations of the style has been the rods and blanks. Parabolic, light, reactive rods made with a high-modulus carbon can, and do, overload.
Thanks to advances in blank technology, this one limitation can be completely mitigated. The JYG Pro Fishing EVOLUTION Solid Carbon blanks have a fully-loading parabolic action, as a technical slow pitch jigging rod should have, however the 100% solid carbon structure reduces breakages to near-zero at the same overload points most other hollow blanks wouldn’t be able to withstand. The EVOLUTION blanks allow for more pulling power and durability, while still maintaining similar loading characteristics as those of high-end jigging rods, making it suitable for newbies and ultra-technical jiggers alike.
