At its core, the Ultra 8R uses Synmat Plus Technology™, combining recycled synthetic insulation with reflective layers to trap heat efficiently and reduce heat loss from the ground. This makes it suitable for sub-zero conditions without the bulk traditionally associated with winter mats. The mummy shape reduces weight further while still maintaining a stable and supportive sleep surface.

Despite its cold-weather focus, the mat remains comfortable and practical to use, with welded baffles for stability, Comfort Cradle™ side rails to keep you centred, and a durable recycled face fabric built for long-term use in rugged environments.
