The original tailing material used by Chuck Kraft to build his famous CK Baitfish, Clawdad, Crittermite, Spoon Minnow, Poppers, and more! This soft and supple material moves great when it is wet but is virtually tear proof! It is one of the most versatile materials we have used for trout, bass, predator, and saltwater patterns. It makes excellent wing cases for big stonefly patterns, baitfish, crayfish, hellgrammite tails, frog legs, curly tails, and worm tails. This material is almost impossible to dye so we offer it in a number of popular colors. It will take different types of marker but it will fade or bleed out over time. This package contains a 10″ x 6″ piece that will allow for cutting dozens and dozens of smaller to average sized tails and a number of larger sized tails. Create stencils for different sized flies out of sandpaper for easier tracing as this material has a 4-way stretch that can make drawing on it challenging. Try different colors and sizes of your favorite tails and let your imagination run wild!
